Would not recommend
Overall, I would not recommend this hotel. We moved to the Waldorf next door (same price) after three days and had a much better experience. Good: a) Excellent location. b) The lobby and public spaces are nice and in most cases bright and cheerful. Could improve: 1) The shower in the suite (or perhaps all rooms) sprayed water everywhere. We used towels to mop it up and called for more towels - to which it was offered for someone to come up and mop since it was a common complaint. 1) The hallways are not insulated sufficiently from the room causing 3AM hallway conversations to sound like they're in your room. 2) Service was uniformly very poor. Three examples of many: rather than bring juice, room service told us twice to get juice from our mini-bar despite us telling them it was locked; concierge did not call us back three times of four; halfway through food delivery at the cafe our waiter left for the day. 3) Our room strongly smelled of sewage. After four calls maintenance arrived - who then filled our water bottles with foul-smelling liquid from our closet ceiling while splattering it on the floor. Thirty minutes later they finally agreed to move us to another room. 4) Fit and finish was not up to five star standards: broken bathroom divider window, two broken light switches, loose ceiling lamp with ceiling damage around it, mold/algea clogged Nespresso maker, uncloseable bathroom door, and unfinished plywood under the easily moved living room rug.

A Disappointing Stay.....
Very disappointed. Upon arrival, reception desk attempted to get us to upgrade our accommodations to a higher priced room at a significant increase in price...before we were even shown the room. The room was small, but moreover, the decor of the hotel is what we would describe as rustic-modern. Overall, the hallways and rooms are lit with a sparse number of LED light fixtures, giving one the feeling of walking through and living in a cave. While this may be "environmentally correct" in today's world, one does not get an uplifting feeling in the hotel. Also, due to the lack of guests staying in the hotel, the typical Israeli grand buffet breakfast was not offered. By itself, this was a very disappointing aspect of our stay, but it was exacerbated by the fact that there was no menu offered for breakfast; the waiter brought out a selection of offerings and asked if we wanted to order eggs. The amount of food was adequate, but when we spoke to the cafe staff and the front desk about our disappointment and suggested that in lieu of the buffet breakfast, that menus with offerings should be offered to guests, our suggestion was ignored; the apology given seemed insincere; no rectification was made and we were advised that if we were to have cut our stay short, that we would still have to pay for the 4 night reservation.
