Fantastic staff was there for your every need. Very attentive and professional. Rooms were stylish and comfortable. We went for our anniversary and the hotel had a surprise for us in the room. We would definitely stay here again.

Location and Amenities Galore
The location is tops - in the middle of everything and looking out on the bay and Stanley Park. The room had really fun touches - like a high end stereo system with an old-school record player (with a great selection of albums). Also, the largest television in the history of hotel rooms. It's a pricey place, but well worth it to us.

Great view of Vancouver!
We loved this property, and the room had a fantastic view. We had a corner room with an ofuro tub that looked over the harbor. Great to sit in and chat while watching the sea planes take off and land. Great location as well. Close to Gas town or Stanley Island. Very walkable, and they also had good bikes to lend or rent. Some nice rides close by. The service certainly matched the style of this hotel -- all Five Star, without being pompous. From the front desk, to the concierge, to the door men, and the drivers -- all took pride in their role, and bent over backwards to make an impact. We were treated like VIPs, which is what you want when you spend this much on a room. We'll be back!

Unrivaled quality of service! Amazing staff!
The service at the Fairmont Pacific Rim as amazing! We've stayed at some of the best hotels in the world and the FPR still managed to impress. The most friendly and attentive staff ever. Every single one of them greeted us by name and bent over backwards to assist. Anyone who enjoys a true luxury hotel experience with top level service would not be disappointed here. The only reason I didn't give a 5 for comfort was the fact that the room was a little too high tech. Everything had to be operated from the iPad. Trying to turn the lights on and off was a chore and I had to dig for my reading glasses. A large percentage of people age 50+ aren't really into that level of technology. I'd just like to be able to enter my room and be able to turn a switch on or off to control the lights. I felt like I needed to take a 30 minute introductory class on how to operate everything. I never did figure out how to turn individual lights off and just defaulted to the "all off" option. I found this really frustrating in the beginning but the level of service and the fabulous staff really made up for anything in this area. The staff at this hotel, absolutely everyone one of them, are truly amazing. We are at the St. Regis in Park City this weekend and I'd love to send their management to the Fairmont for training. Service here at the St Regis is appalling! Its a spectacularly beautiful hotel with the service level of a cheap business hotel.
