VERY pet friendly
We had a great trip! We chose this hotel because of how dog friendly it is. The rooms were large and the view was great. Everything was very clean and not smelly like some other pet friendly hotels. They even had a potty spot on the rooftop which was awesome and convenient for the dogs.

Uncomfortable bed and pillows, thin walls/noisy
The bed and pillows were so uncomfortable that I woke up (after tossing and turning all night) with upper back and neck pain. The walls are thin. We heard the people next door as if they were standing in our room and the people above us sounded like they were moving furniture. We also heard sirens and traffic all night. We have stayed downtown in other hotels and this was never an issue. They were supposed to have luxury toiletries (Aveda) and instead had cheap dollar store brand. I requested some body wash since the bar of soap was the size of a silver dollar, but they had none. All in all, NOT worth the money and did not feel like a luxury boutique hotel. Would never stay here again.

Too pricy for nothing special.
It’s is disappointing to stay somewhere that charges $300 a night and then doesn’t even have a fridge or microwave. Those would be $20 more. Fire pits at roof top bar were reserved so there was no where to be warm. No hot tub or bath tub even. Charged. $50 early check in fee. Bummer. High prices with no real amenities. If you want breakfast it’s $30 more. The only perk was the location (by petco park and down town.

Nice hotel, great location, comfortable room.
A nice hotel near the Gaslamp District. It's not the cheapest option but you get what you pay for. The room was large and comfortable, the service was very good, and the location can't be beat. I highly recommend it!

The hotel was great! The local area is filled with homeless people and there are a ton on people with dogs. Watch your step on the sidewalks.

Great hotel that is located in such a great location! You can walk so many places or you’re just a quick Uber ride from other great areas of beautiful San Diego! The staff was super friendly and the rooftop bar is fab!

Two thumbs up!
Let me get right to the point. This place is AWESOME. Here are some reasons why: - Room was spacious/clean with wonderful amenities (makeup remover and extra toilet paper was a plus!). Shower is huge. One thing I wish they had in the room was a fridge. Also, the vending machine on the 4th floor didn't work, but at least the ice machine next to it did. - View was great. Our window looked straight into the Sycuan stage at Petco Park, even at a couple blocks away. - Pets are welcome - Valet parking. It's $50 a night, but I don't have to worry about my car too much. Valet service was quick and nice. - Table 509 Bar & Kitchen. I got the voucher to include breakfast with my stay. IT WAS THE BEST BREAKFAST I'VE EVER HAD AT A HOTEL, hands down! I had the East Village Breakfast and wiped the plate clean, lol. Sunnyside up eggs with the crisp edge, a bit of greens on top, well-seasoned tater tots, crispy bacon, wheat toast with butter and jelly...everything was chef's kiss! The customer service at this restaurant is excellent too. Our server was attentive to cleaning up the plates, giving us drink refills, and let us know what the voucher covered. Thank you! - Snack area/deli. I wish I had known about this before I purchased a $33 pizza from Postmates (albeit was very good). It's in the lobby and you just pickup whatever you want and pay at the guest reception. - Surrounding areas: a brewery, bowling alley, and restaurants all within a couple blocks! Would stay here again for sure!
