BYD Lofts - Boutique Hotel & Serviced Apartments, Patong

Absolutely amazing. Great location and super nice and accommodating staff

The BYD Lofts is a really nice property! The hotel itself is very nice with modern furnishings, a kitchen, living room and terrace! The staff is helpful, hospitable and friendly. The location itself is central to the area, however at least a 10 minute walk to the beach (which honestly is a straight shot and not difficult). The only thing I did not find comfortable was that the toilet space is very small, even for the average sized person. If you're tall, you may have to use the bathroom with the door open lol. Overall, I would stay here again.

Overall, facility was clean. Staff was AMAZING, super sweet, and willing to help with anything. Hotel not too far from local night market. Beach is 5 minute walk. Arranged for food and drinks at pool side. Arranged for shuttle service to airport at 6 am. LOTS of local massages down the street from here charging only 200 baht for thai or foot massages :) Cons: Toilet had a sewage smell that would never go away. It's probably due to the water that is used for the toilets. Not sure if this is because of Phuket or because the facility itself decided not to filter out the entire system properly. There is in room spa services/massages. Disappointed that the hotel did NOT specify that this is from a 3rd party services, versus through the hotel. It shocked me that I could not charge the service to my room. I was required to pay cash on the spot AFTER all was said and done. Thus, I was unable to use my credit card. Hotel food was so so. Coffee at breakfast was definitely good, just ask for less sugar! Room comes with 4 bottle of water per day for our one bedroom. Lots of eateries near by if you want to avoid street food. WARNING: we are from the US and got sick from hotel ice from the bar twice. Do be careful if you have a sensitive stomach. Been in Thailand for 5 days and ended up getting sick we when got to this hotel.

Couldn't have been happier. Great staff and location. Close to the action but very quiet. The beds were super comfy and the rooms very clean and modern.
