The ambiance and service was great but the mattress was worn out and the shower barely adequate.

Love that hotel. Great staff great food best margarita ever! Small charming homey and comfortable rooms. Feeling of old California!

Imperial Hotel, Amador City
The Imperial had the most comfortable bed and pillows I’ve ever slept in in a hotel. The place was clean, but a bit small. We had a king bed which took up almost the entire room. Breakfast was ready at the time we chose to eat breakfast. Never have I ever been able to tell the kitchen when I would be down for breakfast. That was a nice touch to this hotel!!

Couples weekend
I like it because it reminded me of the old west. Built in 1879. Just the basic necessities in the room. They had a nice bar, very good dinner menu and for breakfast they have either a hot or cold breakfast. The hot breakfast changes everyday. Nice little town with a great bakery.

couple trip down Hwy 49
very average. nice live music, but restaurant under staffed, decided to go eat elsewhere, which turned out to be the wrong move, since everything near by was closed.
