Booked 2 nights. Arrived early at 11am. was informed can only check in after 2pm, which was fine. When I returned at 10pm to check-in, the desk manager informed me that I would have to pack my luggage the next morning because they needed to move me to another room for my 2nd night as all the rooms on my floor was scheduled for major upgrading. Moreover my replacement room would not be available until 2pm. So I was expected to pack, return to in the afternoon to move rooms and unpack all over again. I told them I could not accept the arrangement as I would be out the whole next day. No reason a paying guest should be inconvenienced in such a way! They had the opportunity to make that request when I arrived earlier in the day and if knowing that I could not accommodate them, arrange to put me in a different room.... but no, just because I returned late in the night for for check-in, I must have been one of the last few arriving guests to have to suck it up and accept the situation. Totally irresponsible and unacceptable management as a hotel. The management should have the common sense to block off the rooms scheduled for renovation and not put themselves in an overbooked position. Finally they said I could stay both days in the same room but be prepared to live with the noise and dust from the other rooms being renovated. As I had a late flight, I requested to pay for a half-day extension which as also turned down. Cannot recommend. Over-rated hotel. book at your own risk

Front Desk Service Could Have Been Better
Have stayed before. Had to request a shaver instead of a standard setting. Check out time is too rigid. Checked with Frint Desk staff on Xheck-out time n was told 11am and with another staff 12 noon. Requested for 30 mins and wad rejected. 10 mins after 12 noon, staff called and threatened to charge to my card if not vacant in 5 mins time. Ridiculous. I am totally aware room is blocked back by back, surely could assign my room for a later arrival guest. Front desk staff needs to handle guest with tact instead of "hotel policy". We are in 21st century and hospitality has evolved towards customer centric and providing adequate staff training is essential and key to current trend. After all, hotel is not only selling rooms but also manage expectation & enhancing experience

Hotel review
At check in there were no smiles or greetings, no standard towels with welcome drinks. The room was cosy and everything was in working order. The view was covered by other buildings. The towels in the bath room were old. The breakfast buffet lacked variety. At check out, it was the same no smiles or greetings. I asked the receptionist for 2 cabs, the first was they called for free but the second they said there was a service charge, so I only called for one and got the other from the street. I have stayed in other hotels in this city and other cities all over Thailand and this is the first time there was a surcharge to get a second cab. Overall there are better hotels with better facilities (no gym and pool) and service in Bangkok, with the price I paid.

Excellent value hotel in great location
The hotel is in an excellent location, very close to the BTS Asok statin and an easy walk to the Terminal 21 shopping mall. It is a very new boutique hotel. I was given an upgrade ad got a bigger room al though I didn't think it was particualry big. However the room itself was excellent. Very clean and comfortable. I was at the front and there was some minor irritation with traffic but nothing that kept me awake. The wifi was good but patchy at times. The in room TV jhad a few channels that worked, but that seems to be a universal problem in all Bangkok hotels I've stayed in. There is no pool, gym or sauna but that is not an issue for me. Breakfast is OK and hotel guests get a 100 Baht discount. The smell from small river that run paralllel to the road is noticeable, but only when you are close to it and I was completely unaware of it in the hotel.

Close to BTS Asok
If you here as a tourist without need for a gym and swimming pool to relax, this is a great address, it's moderately priced, is right in the city centre close to all attractions, restaurants, malls and night life. BTS Asok a walking 5 minute distance to commute cheap, fast and comfortable. Friendly staff but look out for Peter, a great guy as supervisor in front office. He is ever ready to help and always smiling. Rooms are large and clean, beds comfortable for good sleep after a hectic touring the angel city. Breakfast limited choice but choice of eggs preparation made fresh to your order. Works for me as my bf is limited to fresh fruits and fried eggs with bread, all that you get served with smile. Yes value for money this nice hotel.
