Enjoyed stay and I would go again.
I had a very nice experience with the South Loop. I had two requests that required trips to my room concerning needing an extra blanket and a problem with my television and both were serviced in a timely manner. The Coffee Café on the first floor was a pleasant surprise because I didn't know they had it. They made fresh made to order omlettes and waffles and was reasonable priced. Parking was a bonus but the lot was full due to an event but there was plenty of nearby street parking. Great place to stay if you are going to event at McCormick. 10-15 minute walk. Water pressure on the first day for shower was weak but may have just been busy. I would use again for C2E2.

Love the free parking and the friendly service
The service was friendly and very helpful. One lamp in the room didn't work and we had to ask for more coffee as there was one regular and one decaf in the room. Other than that, very happy! The free parking was great as we could park before checking in and after checking out, important as we were attending a conference.

My stay
Wish a couple more restaurants were closer. Wish there were more options for breakfast but what there was worked. Tasted good. Wish there was a microwave in the room.

Convient to McCormick, but thats about it.
Overall this is an OK and affordable place to stay if you just need a place to sleep and are spending the bulk of your time about the city. The overall condition could be improved. There were obvious attempts evident by the unfinished repair work in my room. TV/cable equipment didn't work properly. The biggest issue I have with the hotel is the lack of a restaurant on premises, and the distance to nearby dining options, combined with poor lighting on the streets between the hotel an those options. Additionally those dining options are very limited. WiFi wasn't that great.
