Fabulous hotel, walking distance from Ave Paulista
I stayed here one night, but this hotel was fabulous. The staff was incredibly helpful and attentive, which stayed with me. My room was very comfortable and stylish. I was within walking distance from Avenida Paulista, one of the main tourist spots in São Paulo. The hotel is also located in a pretty safe, stylish neighborhood. I would definitely stay here again.

Best Location, Best Hotel, Best Deal
This hotel is a great choice. Perhaps the best location in Sao Paolo, a safe, high end neighborhood with tons of great restaurants, shopping, bars, etc., just two blocks from Ave. Paulista (the 5th Ave of SP). The bed was extremely comfortable (including four pillows plus a body pillow), the shower better than the one I have at home, and the room - though not very large - was completely silent (and had great black-out curtains). Breakfast was terrific, with every kind of fruit and Brazilian stuffed breads/cakes, yogurt, juices, cereal and eggs, served in a pleasant restaurant space overlooking their small outdoor garden. Service was perfect, with at least one English speaking staff member on the front desk every time I needed one. The first day the battery in my in-room safe was out, and the front desk man immediately accompanied me to my room to fix it. Another time I arrived back late from a night on the town and mentioned I needed additional towels I had forgotten to ask for previously. In five minutes there was a man at my door with towels (at 4:30AM, I'm a bit embarrassed to say). To top it off, Marcelo at the front desk is a Denver Broncos fan. All in all, you won't find a better deal for the price (I paid about $75/night!!!).

Location without the Bling & Price
Location is key here - blocks from Oscar Freire in the Jardins where you feel safe, where you can run or do yoga, where you can eat and shop and just blocks from Paulista Ave too. English is a challenge at the hotel however the service and location outweighs. Don't expect much from the food yet with great restaurants so near this does not have to be a distraction.
