We couldn’t be happier with our stay at Belmond Santuary Lodge. The placed is magical just steps from Macchu Picchu and with a perfect view of WAYNAPICCHU mountain. Thank you to all staff who made are stay great!! Everyone was so nice and even gave us an unexpected upgrade! Thank you!! Definitive worth the price as you get yo visit MP twice and just a few steps away.
Simply perfect. Excellent services, all of it was stunningly beautiful.
Excellent location and services!!! We really enjoyed staying here and would do it again!
AMAZING!
The staff were very accommodating. The convenience to the Machu Picchu Sanctuary entrance is the greatest asset.
Historic hotel, right face to Machu Picchu entrance. Clean room, has mini bar with lots light foods included. Staffs are very nice. Room rate is very expensive, and even more expensive if include breakfast or any meals in restaurant.
What an unbelievable way to visit Machu Picchu! The Belmond is an incredible hotel and well worth the splurge. Staying 2 nights was so worth it and I would encourage others to do this. Our room was lovely and very comfortable, the food was absolutely fabulous (and we are big foodies) and the staff was just the best. We spent so much time talking to them and learning about their lives, families, Peru, - it was an education- not a tourist visit to a site you check off your bucket list. I loved that the food and drinks were included in the cost because it made us try new things that were recommended. The pisco tasting in the evening was really fun and we ended up meeting a great couple that we hung out with after dinner. That is such a great part of traveling- meeting people and building life long friendships. The type of people at the Belmond Sanctuary lodge were very friendly, outgoing, interesting, and diverse. It was the perfect combination. I highly recommend getting a guide for your visit to MP. Our guide Beltran was incredible and the hotel arranged everything. He not only was very informative, witty, and interesting, he was also crucial to my husband getting up and down all the narrow steps and walking trails! My husband swears he would not have been able to navigate and complete our visit without his help. Our visit to Machu Picchu was fabulous but the Belmond Sactuary Lodge made it just so much more special, less rushed, and much more pampered.
Very convenient. Beautiful hotel and setting right in front of Machu Picchu.
Good location and service. Right at bus stop and entrance of Machu Picchu.
Great location. Perfect for what we needed. We wanted to do two hikes and needed a convenient location to stay for one night. We were able to accomplish our hikes by staying here, in addition to also attending a guided tour.
