Poor customer service.
The evening desk attendant was rude and extremely disrespectful. The hotel was very nice, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good as well. This was all overshadowed by the the treatment we were shown by the attendant.

Very Good Property
My experience for this property was very good, everything was clean and all staff were pleasant plus very helpful in any question or requests. Two things that kept it from being excellent was the road to reach the hotel which can be difficult depending on direction you are coming from. Second was the breakfast but that is only due to what I like to eat, not really a knock on the property - the options were much better than other hotels I have recently stayed at, so most travelers will most likely have a different opinion. I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet the hotel was based on other reviews, did not experience the same as others recently claimed. One thing I will point out about slamming of doors, all hotel doors have (or should have) a strong door closure for rooms based on the weight of the door, if not then the door will not fully close. Due to this, if room occupants do not assist the door closure, it will make a large slamming sound that could be confused as guests slamming their doors closed. For those riding bikes along the B&O Canal trail, this location is great since the trail is directly behind the property. I would not hesitate to stay at this property again.

Brief Stay in Cumberland
Overall Cleanliness was great! We were dissapointed the hot tub was not working. Front Desk was not very helpful and were often absent. Breakfast was sparse. We were happy to learn the bike parh was so near.

Not up to date!
Cleanliness was not an issue. The tv is so small you can’t even read the menu without sitting on the end of the bed; 2 feet in front of the tv! Only two charging outlets in the room! Both are not acceptable in 2023 when people come back to their room to relax and can’t even see the tv and then want to charge their phone, watch, iPad, etc.
