    Our first room was not clean. Had used shampoo and hair in the tub. They apologized and acted fast to switch our room. Which was great. However, The toilet paper was not filled in the new room. The toilet ran all night. The next day checking out went fine. When I got home I realized I left me shirt in the hotel room brand new with tags. I called the front desk and they said they would check lost and found and they never called me back. Or followed up in any way. I know the shirt was on bed on the right.

    The hotel was ok but staff was rude. In addition, we had flies in the bedroom which made it even worse. Our blankets had drawings in it and when we asked staff to change they gave us attitude. Another downfall was the inside door pool was bot open where other hotels around had theirs open. Not sure why its called a resort because there is nothing there to do as a resort.

    Decent hotel for the money
    Decent hotel for the money. A little disappointed in our stay. I have stayed here in the past and had a much better experience. Due to Covid, no breakfast, indoor pool closed, and no housekeeping. We are a family of four and had to keep asking for towels and toilet paper etc. Housekeeping would sometimes leave us new towels by our door but would leave only two and I was always asking for more. When we asked for things the staff would sometimes seem annoyed. Also we asked for a couple extra pillows and they only gave us one. I will probably try a different place next time I go to the Cape as there are many choices in the area.

    The problem of course is that we are in the middle of a pandemic and certain amenities that were supposed to be part of our stay were not available or closed. No breakfast, no maid service and no indoor pool. We were told we were upgraded to a poolside room but these rooms were at the far end of the building and we had no view of the pool. There should have been some compensation on our bill for these losses in amenities.. it cost us $20 a person daily for breakfast and we cleaned our own rooms. There was no reason why the poolside sandwich grill was not open? This made one have to leave the property to get lunch. I have been coming to this hotel for 25 years- it is not the same since it was sold from the original family. No recognition as a returning customer and when I asked to stay one hour later at checkout, I was denied. That is not good customer service. The hotel was maybe at tops one-third booked.
