    Old. Historic, but very old.
The motel is very old. I’m guessing they are relying on it being vintage, but it’s just old and could use some refurbishment. We walked in and the look and smell reminded me of my grandma’s house from the 1950’s. The mattress was worn out. The carpet seemed cheap and needs to be replaced. The bathroom was clean and was the nicest part of the room. The pool was pretty nice, but there were a lot of leaves in the water. They note that John Wayne stayed there and they are on the National Historic Register. That’s great, but they need to find a balance between keeping the history and making the motel comfortable and enjoyable.

    Needs some tlc
This place is old, antique furniture (rustic?) our room was just ok. Some of the lamps didn’t work which really bothered me. The front office is not open 24 hours. It is located in a quiet area a few blocks from the main street kinda walkable. I would stay here again only if I had no other choice.

An expensive option to the hotels on main.
A very fun retro hotel. Was clean, good location, and has a great staff. Price is right too!

    Historic hotel
We enjoyed our stay at this historic hotel. It is an older property but was very clean. Breakfast consisted of tangerines, granola bars and muffins. Coffee makers are in the room.

    Clean but noisy
Staff was friendly and helpful. More traffic than I expected along the road outside throughout the night. Room was clean and the fridge and microwave were nice amenities.

    Good for the Money.
Nice older hotel. Lobby was not appealing but the room was good and the beds were comfortable. Could use some upkeep around the pool and outside of building.

    Good stay & price
We had a quick, overnight stay with a late arrival and early departure. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The hotel is off of the main drag. We appreciated the quieter setting but others may prefer to be more centrally located.
