What a lovely clean place to stay. Room was small but had everything I needed. Lovely hot shower and nice location, out the way but quiet and peaceful.

8/10 Very good

Everything perfect when we arrived. There was a slight issue with the room key not present in the lock box, but quickly resolved by the young lady. Room spotless and everything you would need for a short stay. A lovely touch with a bottle of water and 2 X mini toblerones. We made good use of the free bikes and only discovered the downstairs kitchen area too late. Lovely veranda to watch the sun setting. All in all, perfect.

Very pleasant, clean and low stress place to stay while hiking the caminho. A little off the caminho trail but there is a well maintained hike and bike path from the center of Valença that will take you right to Alma Candida. Breakfast is very good too.

8/10 Very good

The hotel isn't manned and 2.5km out of town. If you're walking Camino, its not in a good location. If you're driving, its good and the view is nice. The dogs are noisy next door and church bells (opposite) are both late and early. The hotel is reasonably new and beds comfortable. My shutter didn't go all the way down which let light in. I had issues with communication twice, no reply.

Nice apartment but check in and service errors

Nice room. Very clean and excellent condition throughout property. It is self check in but it was not easy as i didnt receive any information. Another guest was also stuck outside. Room preparation was not complete either.

Overall 5 stars but I do want to give a few pointers… if you get there after dark know that the parking will be before you reach the actual hotel building. It’s dark so it will be a little challenging for you to recognize. Once you find the parking it will be super easy. Make sure you get the gate code, room number, and all the check in instructions after you book the reservation because this hotel is self contained which means there will not be a person checking you in. The whole hotel seems brand new. Very clean. Bedroom and bathroom is very small but enough for a short stay. Bed is very comfortable and breakfast has everything you need for a good start of your day! I would recommend this place and would stay there again for sure!

The experience was incredible good. We traveled driving from Porto to ACoruña. And stayed here for two days. The first and last of our trip. We travel a lot and this place really was a good experience. Perfect and simple design with great attention to details. The cleaning is immaculate . We have the opportunity meeting the owner. Amazing hard worker guy. Excellent team. We definitely recommend Alma Candida 100 percent. Small place but warm, quiet and again, very clean. We will come back . Thanks Joao.
