Awesome stay!
My wife and I had a fabulous stay at the Suites Trastavere. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive (thanks to both Marco and Helena), the room was very nice and unique (we stayed in the Pantheon Suite), and the continental-style breakfast was very tasty (I loved those little dessert cakes that were akin to Italian twinkies :-)) Marco was very communicative during the reservation and pre-check in process. As soon as we arrived, Helena gave us some great tips on exploring Rome and the Trastavere area. While I was there, I found that the power outlets were all Italian style and I didn't have an adapter, so Marco was kind enough to provide one to me. (Suggestion: put multiple power adapters in every room so U.S. travelers -- which are probably a large percentage of your clients -- don't have any issues charging their electronics.) The location of the Suites is great -- literally a minute walk from the Tram stop and a few minutes walk from the Trastavere train station. Thus, it's ideal to get around Rome and to/from both airports and Civitavecchia port. Overall, we had an aweseome stay at the Suites Trastavere!

Next time in Rome- this is my place!
My wife and I reached there a little earlier than check in time. Helena took us as guests very quick and welcomed us to the dining table for breakfast. This is not a fancy staying but surely a comfortable with good careless of Marco and Helena. Two nights we stayed in this suite which is very near to train station and no. 8 Trum just infront of the facility which runs to Rome central every few minutes. We felt we were in home. Absolutely worthwhile for the money and the value we received.

Sleepless in Rome
No sign, somewhat difficult to find. Inside, the building is cool, (marble steps, high ceilings) but it is NOT a typical hotel. Our bedroom door was in the small "office" of the hotel. If we opened our bedroom door, anyone in the office could see us in our room and in our bed. Bedroom door not soundproof, 2 old wood doors that came together with cloth on the opaque glass on top. Reason we mention this is that there is much noise from 6 am until after midnight: people coming and going, doors slamming, loud conversations etc. Large keys that must be used to open the door to the office area and then to our room, and in the process must wake anyone who is sleeping, are heavy metal objects that must jiggle and clank for some time before the door will open. On our third sleepless night it was apparent that someone was trying to gain access to our room. We opened the door, and met a couple who was trying to use their key to get into our room. Other than the excessive noise, the room itself was large and convenient, with a wardrobe that locks (room does not have a safe), the bed was better than average for sleeping, if that were even possible. Our window opened into a courtyard which had so much junk and garbage that we could not look out. Online pictures very deceiving. First time in Rome - loved the City.

Excellent Staff & Location!
We had an excellent stay at B&B Trastevere. The staff was extremely helpful in helping us navigate Rome using public transport and suggesting dining options. We really appreciated their help and it made our stay even better! The rooms were tiny but clean and comfortable - loved the paintings on the walls. Good breakfast of meats, cheeses, pastries, and cereals. We couldn't have been happier to stay in Trastevere compared to the more central tourist areas in Rome with only a 5-10 min tram ride to most areas of interest.

Worth finding and staying at.
We arrived late by car from Bologna. Then we could not find a hotel with the address. We called our host Marco, who was at an important annual family dinner. He met us on the street and directed us to the B&B. The B&B is located on the third floor of an apartment building, which Marco told us the apartments go for as much as one million euros. Anyway, after getting our luggage upstairs with Marco's help on a very quaint elevator, we found our room which was located in a large apartment. The room was a bit small but about average for for a three person room in Europe. There is common room, kitchen where a good continental breakfast is served. The B&B is conveniently located on a tram line that can take you to the Colosseum, and other sites. We were able to find parking on the street, so we did not need a garage, but we did not need to use the car for sightseeing in Rome. There is a convenient restaurant near the hotel "The Station" Which plays American music. They even have a band on some nights. Overall, the B&B is a very good value and a convenient place to stay for a Rome visit. Marco is a great, warm host. By the way if you go to station 4 on the tram and go about a block on the same side as the B&B you will find a Greenwich Village type area full of restaurants on tiny streets.
