Although a shared bathroom, my stay was like staying in a house and not a hotel. Was a pleasant time.

This is a gem! You have to share the shower and toilet facilities with others, but don’t let this but you off. Patty, the host, has a personal, hands-on touch. You’ll be walking distance from many of Rome’s key tourist sites, including the Vatican museums. And surrounded by wonderful eateries. Value-for-money this is hard to beat.

Ottimo hotel!

"Great Hotel!"
Patty (the host) was amazing! She was so kind and helpful. The room itself was of average size, comfy bed, was cleaned daily and has it's own sink. This was my first experience staying in a hotel with a 'shared bathroom' and I had no issue what so ever. There are only a handful of rooms so I never had to wait for the shower. As for the location, you could not do better than this hotel. I could walk to every sight in Rome that I wanted to see (other than Vatican City). It was minutes to Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, and a ton of great historic sites. The hotel itself is very inexpensive compared to other hotels in the area. It was a super safe area with tons of cafe's and restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in Rome on a budget.

Hotel economico in zona turistica
Inoltre, manca l'aria condizionata.

Original review:
"Affordable hotel in tourist area"
This is the cheapest hotel we found in the "old city" section of rome. Two blocks from the metro Barberini stop, which is great. Well-rated restaurants within a block. However, while Trevi Fountain is a five minute walk away, the area does not have the appeal that the Piazza Navona area has. The only strange thing about the hotel is that it requires you to leave your room key in the hotel before you go out. Also, no AC.
