Absolutely awful, dont bother
Awful hotel. I paid extra for "payment on arrival" they continued to take £130 out of my account, and when I arrived the asked for 145, as the 130 was a deposit! I explained that i had given them no permission to take money from my account before arrival but they took no notice. Paid up, went up to the room to find that all of the lights were off the walls, and the plug sockets had not been finished, meaning there were live wires sticking out of both! I went to reception and explained this, the girl said there was no rooms other than a single that we could have (there were 3 of us!!) She offered me a refund meaning I would have to leave and said there was nothing else she could do, or i could wait 2 hours, until 12:30 (midnight) for her colleague to show up. I ended up fixing all the electrics in the room myself at 11:30PM! I was then promised some money back off my bill, but when i checked out, the ignorant moron on reception wasnt having any of it. There were cracked tiles on the floor in the bathroom, the flusher button for toilet wasnt fitted properly, another thing I had to fix, the area wasnt nice, and the staff were the rudest and most ignorant I've ever come accross; I'd rather have burnt the money, at least then i could have watched the pretty flames. Dont waste your trip here

Very Good 8.0
Convenient location, good value, minimal amenities
Got in late to the hotel as I had pre booked a dinner canal cruise with the Stromma tourism company. It ended at 9:30pm, so I went to pick up my luggage from the self luggage lockers at Centraal Station Amsterdam then grabbed a tram ticket from a blue kiosk (the yellow ones sell train tickets only) blue ones sold tram. Outside there were kiosks that sold all three, train, tram, bus. Anyhow, I got a one way tram ticket to Museumsplein and was so glad I did as it was freezing cold wind late in the evening. During the dinner cruise I also saw where Hotel Blossoms was by the huge HEINEKEN sign. As I previously paid to get an all Europe SIM card, I used my smartphone navigation on Google maps to walk to the hotel. The blonde guy with the glasses was alright, not super nice or friendly, just curt. He asked for my name and gave me the room key after I signed an agreement of usage of the room. I asked fir a copy as I glanced over the document and grabbed a copy for myself. The room was a single efficiency, but was clean aside from a tiny hair here and there in the shower. I sprayed the shower down before usage. I did enjoy the locations convenience. There id a dutch pancake place across the street callrd Carrousel. Definitely go grab some poffertjes! They're delicious! Also, if you wish to "treat yo self" Bakers and Roasters are a must try if you can get up early to beat the wait. Make the most of museum visits as everything is so accessible from here.

Poor 2.0
Paid a room for nothing, unwelcoming staff!
I didnt even stay i had to go and book another hotel, as soln as i got to the hotel i was received by the most unwelcoming and unhelpfull hotel employee i have ever encountered!!! I lost a little more than 100 USD on this hotel, why? Because not only the rooms are way smaller than advertised, the attitude and energy of the front desk clerk not only made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable but made me leave and look for another hotel even though my reservation was already paid for ! I tried to add my girlfriend to my reservation because her flight got cancelled and it was not possible, not only that i even got an attitude from the guy for just even asking, plus the rooms are so small you cant even fit your thing there!! Im so frustrated and dissapointed! This is how bad it is!! I lost my money and my time going to this hotel and booking it! Basically paid 100 to urinate on the lobbys dirty restroom and store my bag in the lobby for 2 hours while looking and booking last minute another hotel for my girlfriend and me, and get attitude, a portion of a day ruined by this and money lost.

Good 6.0
At first I was really impressed with the room. It does get stuffy at night but after opening the window I had no issues. It was very peaceful at night and in an amazing/perfect part of Amsterdam. The disappointing part of this stay was every morning house keeping woke me up at 10:15 sharp. I always refused as I was sleeping. My second last day I refused as always, I went out for the day and when I returned all of my bags were ripped open. Everything was out of my bags included printed out itinerary’s. No fresh towels, no fresh sheets. They didn’t even make the bed they just pulled the comforter over my messy sheets and took out the garbage. I complained to the front desk and they apologized, they also informed me they would look into it. Never heard anything from the hotel staff again. Unfortunately i don’t trust the hotel staff so the location and the updated room don’t mean anything to me. I would never stay here again.

Good 6.0
Pros: front desk staff was extremely helpful, location was great and close to museums, trams, metro and airport shuttle, lots of storage space, new towel each day Con: power outlet next to bed and not where the desk space was, towels were torn and worn down, had a large, small and floor towel the fist night and never received the small or floor towel the following nights (think the intention was to use the large towel from prev night as the floor towel), window (at least in my room) did not prop open own its own, neighboring room can be heard from my room when the windows were opened, barely enough space to open luggage on the floor I had to the unfortunate opportunity to arrive in the EU during a huge heatwave (90s-100F) so the room was hotter than it was outside. Like many hotels, this did not have AC so it was a huge struggle to return each night. If the weather was what it's supposed to be (mid 70s), everything would have been much more bearable. All in all, an Ok stay.
