Villa Cheta Milano, Milan
Horrible Hotel bait and switch fraud!
This was by far the worst hotel I stayed in during my two week trip!!! First, the hotel I made the reservation for was not the hotel they put me in. I drove to the hotel and parked then they said the actual room was a few blocks away! I had to move the car. Then I had to carry my bag up 50 stairs as there was no elevator. The guy hands me four silver keys because you need a key to get in the front gate. Then you walk past the stacks of garbage to the front door of the building which takes another key to open. Then you walk up 50 stairs to another door that needs a key. Then you get to the room and it needs another key. However, all the keys look identical so how do you know which key is which? It gets worse! You need the keys to get out too! If there was ever a fire in this building you will burn to death because you are locked inside! The heat did not work in the room. The internet did not work! The buffet breakfast was a joke!!!! You have to walk three blocks to the other hotel for the breakfast. Then you get there and there's nothing buffet about it at all! No cheese. No meat. No eggs. Just some cheap yogurt and prepacked gargabe cheap pastry. you want a drink? The guy begrudgingly makes you a coffee. It was so bad I didn't even finish it. Then you have to walk 3 blocks back to the room. Then you have to walk three blocks back to check out and return the four keys!

it is not worth it
this is not a hotel, it's a guest house. there is no check in counter or permanent staff. There was only one guy who was taking care of the guests and he was really unfriendly, unhelpful and rude. We missed our first day at the hotel due to the airplane delay and we asked for a paper from him so we can claim the demages from airlines and he refused to give it to us although told us he should be able to issue such a letter. Also when we asked for sleepers he told us this is not a hotel we don't have it. very rude! plus there is no breakfast if you don't book it in advance.
