Friendly staff, decent food, breakfast included and comfortable beds. Only real complaint is that the Internet was extremely slow.

Good location to access fjord, staff is friendly. No too much choice for breakfast, but the dinner in hotel is pretty good.

We stayed here after going through Geiranger Fjord. The hotel was nestled comfortably at the base of a cliff. The rooms and beds were comfortable. The Norwegian buffet breakfast was diverse, interesting, and tasty. This was not a high-end hotel, but it was very friendly, comfortable, cozy, and attractive. The drive along the Troll's Road from Geiranger and then the ferry were added bonuses!

We were really pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Everything about it was at a good level or above. We will definitely recommend it to friends who want to stay in a nice place in very small - town Norway.

This small, nice hotel was actually the most expensive of our two-week time in Norway due to its location near Gerainger Fjord. We chose it precisely because it was the cheapest option in that highly-trafficked tourist destination. The woman at reception was very agreeable and helpful and spoke top-notch English with ease. The breakfast was the standard variety and good. The location for catching a morning cruise on Gerainger was superb. Most people logically choose to start their Gerainger Fjord cruise in the town of Gerainger, but as those cruises end near this hotel, you're much better off to begin your cruise in the morning from here, and then end in Gerainger. The exit in your car/bus up the switchbacks from Gerainger with a view back is spectacular. The town around the hotel is tiny, so I would recommend this hotel as a good 1-night option prior to a cruise in Gerainger Fjord.

A nice place with a good back garden, one minute off the road to Triollstigen and three minutes from the fjord by feet.
