Get what you pay for - Not Much :(
Let's be real, I wasn't expecting this place to be anything nice, but at least a decent bed to lay my head, a clean bathroom to wash up, with a secure place to park my car, and, of course, working air conditioning to escape the summer heat. However, this place still managed to disappoint! Everything was as "eh" as it could get, which was about what I was expecting, but I was really enraged when they lost power, the staff disappeared, and I was refused a refund - despite the staff ensuring a refund would be provided once I submitted a claim through Hotels.com since it was booked via 3rd party. Sure enough, after raising the issue through Hotels.com as advised, Tropicana denied the refund for the night I didn't stay since I didn't checkout with the non-existent staff during the power outage.

Not to bad. Bed was lumpy. Great water pressure though! No carpet which is always a plus for me. Smart tv. Fridge and microwave. Short distance to boardwalk. Pleasant staff. I’d stay again.

Clean and convenient
We came to Wildwood for a 3 day 2 night stay. While the outside appears a bit dated, the motel itself is very up to date and clean! Everything was clean, from the bathroom to the floors and the sheets. There were only 2 double beds, but for as much time as you honestly spend in the room, it was fine. And there was enough room for an air mattress as well. There was an ice machine in the lobby, that was a huge plus. And it was very close to the dunkin donuts and beach access. Parking was a little tight, but they do offer on street parking, which was nice. The staff was very helpful and nice as well. There is also an outdoor shower for rinsing off. Overall, i would recommend staying here. Its clean and affordable for families wanting a fun beach trip on a budget.

Not handicap accessible!
This motel is not handicap accessible! Their website states "Braille Elevators" but they do not have elevators at this property. They do not offer ground floor rooms, all their rooms are a walk up to the 2nd and 3rd floor. They did accommodate us at their other property, the Monaco motel which did have ground floor rooms. The front desk service couple were very nice and accommodating.
