Ryogoku/Sumida Hotel, Convenient and Quiet
Nice hotel in a cool, out of the way neighborhood that is still two stops from Akihabara and all that insanity. Close to subway and JR Rail station stops, convenience stores and quaint little eateries. Right next to Edo-Tokyo museum, a sumo arena/museum and a Hokusai museum. Rooms have great views of downtown Tokyo. I would recommend this hotel and stay here again.

Daiichi Hotel Ryogoku, Tokyo
First trip to Tokyo. Easy to navigate around to northern section of the city via trains and subways right at our door or a short walk away. Hotel was very clean and quiet. Staff was very friendly and spoke english well. Favorite stops were Akihabara, Ueno, and Shinjuku. Enjoyed sightseeing, shopping and eating at all stops.
