Very Good 8.0
Convenient and comfortable
The hotel was right next to the Ryogoku subway and very convenient to many things in the area. There was also a great view over Sumida with the Tokyo Skytree available on the 18th floor. The room was comfortable and clean, and had a nice view over Ryogoku.

Great stay
Very central, super close to subway station, fantastic views, lots of food choices very close by. Big bathrooms and rooms by Japanese standards. Reasonably priced parking. My only complaint is the fact that the hotel had the air con set to heating mode so there was no way to cool the room down. It got a bit too hot at night and the windows don’t open at all.

Overall, the hotel is very nice. The A1 exit for the Toei Oedo line is literally right next to the hotel, which makes it very convenient. The only complain as a foreign traveler to this hotel is that the hotel and staff needs to have more or better English signs/speaker for the foreign guests that do not speak or read Japanese. For example, the hotel advertises the restaurants located inside the hotel, but all advertisements were in Japanese only? Another example is that the service level from the staff is excellent, but quite a few time I have to spent quite a bit of effort in asking questions as their command of the English language was not very good. The view out of the hotel room was excellent.
