Quiet and home from home
Quite location, comfy bed, strong WiFi and great breakfast choices. Parking on street with a parking permit provided during the stay.

Excellent guest house with street parking
Very good value if you are willing to park on the street. The property has no off-street parking. Guests are given a windscreen sticker that entitles a vehicle to parkall day on the streets nearby. There were plenty of spaces when we visited. The room really ticked our boxes. It was much bigger than many hotel/B&B rooms, so was the bathroom, which had a walk-in shower and hair dryer. Wifi was good. The room had a frig, safe, tea/coffee tray, small desk, two comfortable chairs, an iron and ironing board. Breakfast was delicious, the best we have had in Scotland. The guest house is on a quiet street, one block from the sea shore (a lovely spot to walk) and a few blocks from restaurants.

2 night break
Very clean, great position for beach, shops, bars etc. Good choice of breakfast. Only gripe was being awakened by the maid, even though I had the DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door. Not a major issue though. Will definitely stay again.

A gem in Ayr
This was a great place to stay as it was a short walk to the sea front and only 5 minutes into the centre of town where there were plenty of places to eat and there was a bus station and a railway station. We used the latter to travel into Glasgow one day, only £10.80 return for a journey taking just under an hour. The room was very comfy, with free wi-fi and the breakfasts were amazing. Would well recommend a stay here.
