was ok
Front desk staff super helpful and friendly. Hotel carpets must be very dirty as both my wife and I left black footprints in shower... carpets need cleaning. Pool just filling, not ready on hottest day of year there ??? breakfast from 1970's, lots of carbs, nothing else. Probably will stay elsewhere next time.

Please do Better Research on your offer
The inn was dated and odorous. The towels were the only clean thing there. Smoking was not permitted yet everyone smoked in their cars that were parked right outside the rooms. Cigarette smoke wafted into the rooms. The rooms were already musty and had a strong nasty odor. The pool was non-existent as it was under construction. A fact that should have researched and made clear in their posting of this inn as an option. The rates were as high as the other inns/motels in the area yet the condition was appalling. needs to do better research in order to give the members a better idea of what they are getting into. AND have realistic rates comparable to what is offered. The kid who checked us in, Steve, was lovely and helped out when our reservation was incorrect. We booked and had confirmation of 2 Queen beds yet they had us in a King Bed. When the first room was overrun with smoke from outside, he gave us another room down the hallway. Less smoke but still bad smelling but it was late and other options in the area had no vacancies. The older A/C units bring in airflow right from the parking lot so there is no avoiding the smokers. These units also make so much noise our sleep was disturbed all night.

Old and tired room
I've stayed in this hotel previously and the room was much better. This time: the room (#118) smelled old & moldy; the carpet was old and worn, to the point of a large threadbare area; and there were absolutely no available outlets (plug) available anywhere in the room except next to the bathroom sink. Nowhere to plug in my phone or laptop. It's 2018, and this room was designed and furnished in 1997. No iron or ironing board, either. I guess you get what you pay for, and although this is a very expensive market, this was a $75 dollar room for which I paid $109. Next time, I'll have to opt for one of the other hotels costing 1.5 to 3 times as much, and pass on the cost to the client. On the plus side, it was dead quiet, so I slept well, in a relatively comfortable bed. All-in-all a barely adequate hotel if you're visiting TC for work.
