Very Good 8.0
Hotel conveniently located with Metro entrance 50 yards from hotel door. Room we had was larger than Prince and APA hotel rooms we have stayed at. There is a cheap eat cafeteria just across the street from the hotel and a beautiful traditional Japanese restaurant a 5 minute walk from the hotel.

Poor 2.0
Hotel is knowingly housing bed bugs
My partner and I stayed here for 6 nights in April and left covered in bed bug bites. As of the 21st of April, they are knowingly housing guests in our room where we were stung. The nightmare that has followed our experience there has been such a loss of valuable vacation time and is not something I would wish on anyone (spending the next 3 days buying new suitcases $$, sanitizing our clothing $$, turning on the light in the middle of the night to check for bugs, and arguing with customer service, to no avail, for hours on end). We made the hotel aware of our discovery by showing them in person, and in photos (attached) evidence of over 15 bites, and a bed bug found on the floor – but despite this evidence, they have refused to offer us any compensation unless we get a doctor’s note confirming the bug bites are X days old. A task which was impossible given all hospitals in Japan are closed on weekends for non-emergencies. Without this doctors certification, they will continue to keep hosting guests in that room. The hoops they are making us jump through are putting other guests at risk of contamination – they willingly admitted on the phone that new guests are still staying there, no preventative measures are being taken! Reading into google reviews you will see mentions of blood stains on the sheet – this is not a coincidence! The hotel will not provide any customer service after ruining a large portion of our holiday – don’t let this happen to you.

Tiny room
The staff is gracious. The breakfast was wonderful with lots of options. The room and bathroom were the size of a cruise ship cabin. Not kidding! It was fine because we are small people. Super clean. Great area to walk. Bed was comfy but pillows are hard. Had issues with thermostat but figured it out so look at the paper below. Would try a different hotel next visit to Tokyo.
