New Years Weekend
We enjoyed our stay and the food was very good! We have a Gluten Free requirement with food and Charlotte the Inn Keeper was very accommodating. We won’t hesitate to stay again!

Excellent B&B in the heart of Woodstock
This was our second stay at the Ardmore, which is on the Main Street if Woodstock. The B&B is within walking distance of Woodstock's many shops and restaurants. It's in a great location. Charlotte makes some of the best breakfasts we've ever had in a B&B. She also is very knowledgeable of the area and current things to do. She gave us a tip to a wonderful local stage company which was presenting a new musical the night we arrived. We went and totally enjoyed it. Remember that the Ardmore is on the Main Street so there is traffic but this was overshadowed for the excellence of the Ardmore.

Wonderful. Only one small caveat.
Lovely place. All amenities, from coffee-maker and cookies downstairs to toiletries and lots of towels in our room. Charlotte went above and beyond taking care of my husband and me when she brought umbrellas to us in town when it started to rain. Delicious breakfast, best muffins I've ever had. Pretty room, and the theme of various local authors is a nice touch. Only one small caveat for light sleepers like me who might be used to the only noise being an occasional chorus of coyotes: the early morning traffic on route 4 is audible from the front rooms. Earplugs are supplied, but I can never make them fit in. Otherwise no complaints.

Great mother-daughter getaway
I was in Woodstock to visit my daughter and see the local sites. The Ardmore Inn was perfect for us: it was an easy walk or a short drive to hiking and historical sites as well as dining (we were able to walk to Worthy Kitchen--look for Maxham Meadow Way); breakfasts were home made and just the right combination of healthy and decadent and got us up and out the door in the morning, usually after a pleasant exchange with nice other guests; our room was quiet and welcoming and gave us some time for conversation; Charlotte, the owner, fleshed out some local history which made Woodstock that much more interesting; the bed was comfortable, etc! Our schedule and some special needs were met with gracious hospitality. I will be back with my daughter and/or husband; this would also be a romantic retreat.

I was the only person staying overnight on a Sunday night and the owner offered me the choice of rooms to choose from! Very welcoming and beautiful rooms. Convenient to the town and within walking distance of restaurant and shops.
