New Osaka Hotel, Osaka
ok hotel, nothing special.
highrise hotel near SHIN Osaka train station..the one the bullet train comes in, and has an express train expensive to airport. Its NOT the main train station in town.... but its ok. HOTEL is middle highways and overpasses. Nothing around but the train station. Hotel lobby is nice.. but rooms are old and non renovated and look like they are from the 1980s. The bed is comfortable but came with one small pillow and had to beg the staff for two more. Only one restaurant, did not use... and a kettle was provided, but no cups , no coffee no sugar only two tea bags, no black tea. no stir stick .... for the money.. WAS NOT IMPRESSED. hotel was clean, and safe, and near a metro so it was ok, no real problems... just nothing special.

Good location hotel but too old
Hotel is near the Shin Osaka station and very easy to find on our arrival. However the hotel is a little too old. The toilet/bathroom has no ventilation so as smell is hard to get out. We need to open window and door to vent the toilet smell. The hotel didn't enable air conditioner during this season. We have to open window every night to keep the room cool and lived with the high noise level on the other hand.

Miss-sold 2 person room.
The šemi double rooms are for 1 person not 2, we booked one and it had 1 towel and 1 pillow even thought booking was confirmed for 2 people. Reception would not supply addition. We had to pay for upgrade to get another room that catered for 2 people. STOP selling rooms for 2 persons if the rooms are not intended for 2 people. Whole hotel smells of stale smoke.
