OK
Booked 5 nights at the Hampton. First room was awful -- super small with a view of a wall and non-functioning lights. Asked to switch rooms that same night and was given a much bigger room with front facing windows -- the issue? The mattress was SUPER saggy. I had two twin beds and unfortunately both were awful. In the morning I requested a room change. I was given a room with a "newer" mattress. It was an improvement. The room had an odd layout and was not very comfortable. The TV had terrible reception and few channels, so ended up streaming movies (good wifi). The toiletries are all made in China so I opted not to use them. The shower was good although there were some issues with the lack of hot water. Easy ride on airport bus to hotel (& return). There are a few bus stops right outside the hotel. The neighborhood is a nice reprieve from the massive crowds in the center of town. It's probably a 20 minute walk to St. Stephen's Green. There are a lot of restaurants, cafés and markets around the hotel too. No gym but they have an agreement with a gym that's a "40 minute walk from hotel or a 15 minute can ride" according to hotel receptionist. No one who worked at the hotel was local -- Eastern European? I probably will stay someplace else next time in Dublin.

Dublin
The hotel is located nicely if you enjoy walking. The only complaint is the road noise is very loud at night. The breakfast was very good, have the eggs benedict.

This hotel was more than I expected. Friendly service. The restaurant offered a great menu and service. Room was very big and comfortable. Bathroom to die for in a hotel!!

Room and service was great. You can take a bus from the airport right to the hotel and it is about a 30-40 minute walk (15-20min bus ride) to city center with St. Stephen's Green and some other nice things to see on the way if you plot your walk right. The bar at the hotel is good and there were also a few nice bars within a 5-10 minute walk in the opposite direction though overall there is not a ton to do in the immediate vicinity.

With 4 or 5 steps up to the door you should have a bell boy to help with the luggageThe room and bathroom were lovely, neat and clean as you would expect. The breakfast in the hotel restaurant was very good with a good variety. One day we went out in the am and returned about 3:30 and the room had not been cleaned, they did come around 4:00 but we were resting and just asked for clean towels. The staff was friendly and polite. I would stay there again.
