Boka Hotel, London
Pros--friendly, close to bus/underground, good breakfast, good price. Overall it was ok. Cons--Older hotel and furnishings that bring the quality down. Main concern was the smell in our bathroom. It wasn't great when we arrived, got so bad during the night I had to close the bathroom door to keep the smell from coming I to our room, and thought I might get sick when I opened the bathroom door in the morning. The bathroom was clean and I didn't see any water leakage

I don’t usually complain about a hotel. As long as it’s clean, I feel there is no need. This hotel room was dirty. The floors were very dirty with filth, and the cups and microwave had food debri that clearly had not been cleaned. The bathroom was dirty as well. Bed sheets clearly had not been washed. For the price it is not worth the stay. The hotel is in very rough shape and I’m not sure they care to remedy. The kitchen ladies were kind and the breakfast was good. That’s the only benefit to the place.

Just ok
Pretty old hotel. Some parts of the room were updated, but the building and fixtures were extremely old. Walls were really thin. Mattress wasn't too comfortable. The location was pretty nice, very close to Earl's court underground and some nice little pubs. Not a bad stay at all, but you get what you pay for.

London trip.
If your looking for a fancy all frills hotel this is not for you, when we arrived we were checked in straight away, the desk staff are efficient and very knowledgeable. The rooms are old style & basic (as you will notice, they still use old style keys to enter the room) but are clean and functional. When we requested to extend our stay by 2 days the staff said it was no problem. The breakfast is as good as you will get at any fancy hotel without being charged any extra. Requests are received & taken care of without problem. If you need to store your luggage after checkout for a few hours they have an area for that too. Great value for money in an area close to Earls Court & transport to the rest of London. I would definitely stay here again.

Great place
Our room was more like an apartment with full bed in one room and 2 singles in the other AND a kitchenette, as well. Full English breakfast included in price. Not a fancy place, but very comfortable, well-located less than 10 min. walk to Earl's Court tube station with good pub food and good connections all over London. Boka is also less than 10 min. walk to Easy Bus (6 pounds) to Gatwick airport. We enjoyed our stay very much. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Special thanks to Spencer.
