Great value, low comfort
I chose The Boka Hotel as I had previously stayed on the same street while visiting London, so I knew the area of town was fine and it had easy access to the London Underground (subway). The area and access to public transportation were still good. And the value per night was exceptional given how expensive London is. The downside was the comfort level that the room provided. Everything seemed worn down and not especially clean. The beds, while clean, were very uncomfortable with springs that did nothing for comfort. This said, the room and hotel were still fine. It did not make for a fun place to stay, but it provided a necessary bed for an exceptional price. If you are looking to stay in London on a budget and want your own room, the Boka is reasonable choice.

Great Little Find
Got this at the last minute, and was not disappointed. Simple room, but a great bed, and a view that looked out on the rooftops across the street. Beautiful at sunrise. The neighborhood is very ordinary, but it's less than a block from the Earl's Court stop. And the price was impossible to beat.

Solid budget hotel
We stayed for a week. Traditional English breakfast ( egg, toast, bacon, banger, brown beans, juice, fruit cocktail, coffee and tea in a basement dining area. The elevator was convenient but dirty. Staff friendly and helpful.

Nothing fancy
There are 3 things that are good about this place. The close proximity to the earl's court underground station, the WiFi and the English breakfast. The room is extremely small and the shower isn't what any American would call a shower. It was a hand held shower head not one that is mounted into the wall. After getting over the inital shock of the place it wasn't all bad. We were there pretty much only to sleep so it was tolerable.

Great location for sightseeing and Heathrow access
Stayed 2 nights with my wife and daughter in mid-December. Good location close to the Earl's Court underground. If you plan to sightsee and also are flying from Heathrow, this is a very convenient location along the Piccadilly line. There are several good restaurants near the underground station and the hotel is only a couple blocks away. The room would have been crowded for 3 except that it had a loft so my daughter had her own space. The breakfast was great - eggs, toast, meats, and beans. Would definitely stay here again.
