Penta Hotel Inverness
Great staff, good food, a quirky modern hotel by the train station but also on the edge for the High Street, and old town Inverness. They do get tour buses which create chaos for the staff manages pretty well.

Pentahotel Inverness is friendly and convenient
We stayed at this Pentahotel in Inverness primarily because it was close to train station and we had an early train to catch. Perfect location for that but also close to restaurants and downtown activities. The service was excellent and room was clean. The room was on the small side but it was functional. We liked the modern design as well. The other thing that was a little different was you actually check into the hotel at the bar on the ground floor but everyone was very friendly so it was fine.

Convenient Location
Comfortable bed - mattress on the firmer side. Shower was good, except there were really brief switches to cool water, and it periodically squeaked/squealed. WiFi worked well. Central location - a block from the bus station and about three to the train station. They held my luggage after I checked out. Has a fitness room that I didn’t realize was there.
