This hotel sits within a complex of another 2 Valamars so you can switch up your day time pool locations. We ended up spending most of our time in the other 4 star Valamar where the pool, views and eating facilities are better. The dining options are fair but can obviously be a little repetitive. We went half board just to cover nights when too tired to trip out. I’d not have wanted 7 nights of it. Easy bus stop to the old town and quite an enjoyable ride in. Check out the other hotel chain around the corner which has many bars and restaurants to enjoy and good entertainment. The Valamar didn’t do entertainment and often not any background music so can feel a little sterile. But overall a very nice stay
