Was placed in Room 107 on the first floor.
Upon arrival I noticed the safety latch on the door was broken completely off.
I asked to change to another room, and was told I would not be able to do so right away due to full occupancy, but the next day was a possibility. The front desk worker that night did find another latch and repaired the door.
The next morning, as I heard housekeeping knocking loudly on doors at 8:00 am, she announced herself at every room except mines, and instead just walked in. Another employee did the exact same thing an hr later. It's as if they were used to that door being broken, so they just would walk in unannounced. Thankfully I had the front desk guy fix the door the night before.
I reported this to the front desk, and she said she would speak to the staff about trying to enter rooms unannounced.
In addition, the staff was very loud in the hallways in the morning talking and laughing.
From that point I felt uneasy about staying there. The very next morning at 7:30 a.m., a guy from housekeeping AGAIN tried to enter the room unannounced, luckily the latch caught the door.
I ran to the door and asked him why won't they announce themselves or knock first. He just threw his hands up like he didn't mean to. I then heard him laughing about it with another staff member who seemed to be in charge of the housekeeping crew that day.
In addition the staff was even louder in the hallways that Sunday morning beginning at 7:30 am.
