Super spot in Kazimierz section of Krakow, Poland
Very comfortable hotel in an excellent location in Kazimierz, Krakow, around the corner from the restaurant area, with a very short walk to the tram to the Old Town, train station, etc.

Never again!
This was a dirty and very unwelcoming hotel. The staff at the front desk (one person) was unfriendly and inefficient. They knew how dirty the hotel was since they proceeded to shampoo the carpet of the first floor between 2 PM and 5 PM, right when we arrived and needed to rest after an exhausting trip. We were the only guests on that floor, leaving 4 or 5 rooms empty and available for cleaning. The noise level was atrocious and our complaints were completely ignored. The cleaning crew said they received orders, the front desk clerk said she couldn't reach the manager, and nothing was done to alleviate the issue. We asked to be moved to another room, but were told that no room was available. Although the location was convenient, it was not worth it in the end as we couldn't rest as planned. Side note: the mattresses are of such poor quality that I had to visit my chiropractor to relieve me from the horrible back pain I suffered after only one night there. I will never stay there again and I do NOT recommend it.

Very Good
David Hotel is worth a try
Great location; friendly staff, clean room, comfy beds, nice and quiet, good choice for breakfast. Bathroom is very small though.

Poor
The hotel room was very small, compared to other hotels in similar price range in same area. The hotel Wifi was weak and got frequently disconnected. Hotel bathroom was not maintained properly. After shower, water spilled from shower cabinet to entire batchroom floor.

Krakow’s a Krakker...
A mile or so from the city centre. Hotel is within Jewish quarter and there are several, v.reasonably priced restaurants within 100 yards of the hotel. The hotel is a standard 3 star hotel. The hotel arranged a trip to Oswiecim and also spoke to Wisla Krakow FC on our behalf and spoke good English. The breakfasts are good and my only complaint was the rooms themselves were quite hot, however, for the price we paid for them including breakfast I am not going to moan. The city itself is clean and has a proper town square. If your looking for English food and would rather watch the football than see the city you will find plenty of British people congregated in The Bull but I would suggest you reserve a table in advance as we popped in to kill 20 minutes before the Wisla game on Sunday and there were no tables available. The hen and stag parties were enjoying themselves, however, it wasn’t for us. The trip to Oswiecim was so worth the money. Roughly £35 for hotel pickup and drop off (approx 50 miles), entrance and the use of a English speaking guide. It includes trips to Auschwitz and Birkenau. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and knew his subject matter inside out and the 4 hours or so passed by so quickly. A wonderful trip overall and a great place to visit.
