Paradise KohYao, Ko Yao

We were looking for an easy, relaxing time away and Paradise was it was more work than it was worth. the place is much better in pictures than in real life. The beach is only nice at high tide, and at low tide it is a mud flat. The food is just fine, but should have been better for the price. The staff was hired from the local community, but this cause a huge amount of misunderstanding, mis-orders, etc. which casaued us some some wasted money, e.g., a day trip that was a waste of time and money..

Great experience. Peaceful and relaxing. The excursions cost more here than other locals but I'm sure that had something to do with isolation. We truly enjoyed the two we participated in with our tour guide Bill. Staff are friendly although English is a struggle for most, but they try. If you want to get away from civilization with a few new world amenities this is the place.

Fantastic location and almost all the staf made a 100 percent effort to be helpful. The pool is superb and the surrounding gardens create an incredible atmosphere. The restraints offered a wide variety of great food at reasonable prices. We stayed 9 nights in one of the private pool villas and it had a spectacular view over the beach and sea to the magnificent islands. Great value and we would definitely come again. Very romantic spot.

We went for our honeymoon and it was fantastic to stay there for almost a week. There are no words to describe how great it is! The hotel is very organized and environmental friendly. The room was incredible with the best view I have ever seen. Not to mention watching the sunrise in the bay from your bed is magical! The people are very helpful and nice and the environment is very relaxing. We did a lot of activities and we really liked the painting and visiting islands as well as canoeing and spa. The restaurant was nice and we really enjoyed the happy hour at the bars. Hopefully, we will be able to visit again! Highly recommended!
