There are better places to stay for the price
Unless you have money to waste, Don’t stay at this hotel!!! There are plenty of nice hotels to chose from in Downtown Fort Worth. The customer service is horrible. While taking a shower, the water shut off for about 45 seconds and once returned it would be ice cold. This happened multiple times, which made for an awful morning shower. When I brought this to guest service’s attention, there was no apology, no sympathy, nothing! You have to pay for WiFi, which at $250 a night, should be complimentary. Finally, after a two night stay and reviewing my invoice, I see that I was charged for valet, even though I Paid Cash!!! I specifically spoke to the valet attendant and clearly said “are you sure you updated the system to reflect we paid cash??” He said, “yes of course ma’am”. Clearly he pocketed the money on top of the tip. I Went back to guest service’s to try and work it out with them.. again, no apology, no offer to remove the $30 charge, nothing. Horrible customer service for the amount of money you pay, is absurd! Highly NOT recommend to stay here. I’ve stayed at several Omni Hotels throughout the country and the one in Downtown Fort Worth on Houston Street is by far the worst one!!

Couple of concerns
Overall the experiences we have had are above average. There were just a couple of concerns. There was no actual EV plug for our fully electric car. There is one but it is in the Condominium side of the garage. Suggest this company upgrade. Electric cars are becoming more popular and a viable travel vehicle. There needs to be more charging stations. Also, we did have breakfast at the Hotel restaurant. The menu was good, the service waiter was good, however, the food was delivered cold and that was not acceptable. We would not return again for breakfast off the menu. There was a buffet and it tasted like we got the cold leftover toast and cold bacon off the buffet. The eggs were at a correct temperature other items were not.

Convenient Location in Downtown Fort Worth
We stayed on a Friday night and the hotel was busy as a beehive. Hotel right across from the Water Gardens and walking distance to nice restaurants. Employees were helpful and professional. Room was small, but clean and well appointed, although I can never figure out how lower budget hotels can supply you with a refrigerator and microwave, while higher end hotels can't. We had a good view and enjoyed the stay. Only one issue. We had valet parked ($28) and apparently everyone decided to check out on Saturday morning at the same time. Long line at the valet and we were informed it would take 15-20 minutes to get our car, so we walked across the street to the Water Gardens. Came back in about 15 minutes and waited. Still no car. Finally, after 30 minutes, we asked the valet about our car and she said she would check. She said wait out front and it would be coming up, which it did in a couple of minutes. The gentleman driving appeared to be in management. He apologized and said he would comp the parking. This was a nice gesture, but I think most would rather get their car in a timely manner. I'm sure having a large crowd leaving around checkout time in not an uncommon occurrence, and they should be better prepared. Notwithstanding, I would recommend this hotel and not hesitate to stay again.

Great service but not the front desk
We actually stayed two nights, September 19 and September 20. When we arrived we were warmly greeted by the valet service and shown to the front desk. When we got to the front desk the two ladies behind the counter on the night of the 19th were less than enthusiastic that we were checking in. We gave them our IDs and when they found out that we had booked with seemed less enthusiastic. They asked where we wanted to stay on a floor and then turned around after handing us the key without ever saying anything like 'have a good stay'. they turn their back's on us and started looking down at paperwork. Our bags were in the room when we got there by a very nice young man. We went down to dinner at the steakhouse downstairs and it was fabulous. Our server Ryan was one of the best we've ever had. We also went to the dinner the next night at the Wine Thief for the wine tasting and had a great time. Couldn't have asked for better food or service from any of the areas that we have noted. The gym was well appointed as well. My only disappointment's were truly the front desk. The second night we had difficulty with getting a room key to work. A lady tried to assist us and then had to get another gentleman to help make the key. He seemed perturbed about having to do that but she was very helpful. Evidently the ladies who registered us the first night and never put my husbands name on the room; that wasn't a surprise based on how we were treated the first night

Beautifully Hidden Fees
This is an amazing, beautiful property. The staff is friendly, knowledgable and helpful. The room was comfy and inviting. Although there were some old scraps of paper under the bathroom sink. A source of frustration was the internet. They tout “Free Internet” but unless you pay extra, it gets throttled down. Free=Slow? I tried several times on multiple devices to sign in (You have to sign up for their rewards to get the free internet to work) and it just hung up so slow that I gave up in the end... Never got it to work. Also, the $30/day parking fee is actually $32.25 with Tax.
