Ignore the location, do NOT stay there!!
We had several hundred dollars in U.S. currency and some chocolates STOLEN from our room. Our stay was for 8 nights. On the 6th day, we got back and it was obvious to us that our stuff and suitcases had been ransacked. Yes, it was partly our fault for not putting the money in the very small safe provided. We were in a rush to catch the train. However, we certainly did not expect to have our belongings stolen. My friend and I go on a lot of international travel and we have never had our stuff stolen before. Even worse, the staff did not express concern, one employee was friendly but didn't appear to believe us, and insisted we must have misplaced our belongings. I couldn't believe it! As for the rest of our stay, the free Wifi was sporadic at best. It would continually kick you off, give random error messages, and would sometimes take 15 mins to connect. As we expected the rooms and beds were small but manageable. We had two single beds and while I almost fell off the very narrow bed with the tilted mattress, we dealt with it. The elevator was small but fit both of us and our large suitcases. The TV didn't work when we arrived but they fixed it. The room was only semi clean, i.e. a bath towel had an obvious stain, there were makeup stains in bathroom, etc. It was livable but given the price of our room, I wasn't thrilled. The location is great, right near Marienplatz and walking distance to train station. I would recommend a different hotel in the same location.

Convenient and clean hotel
Had a good experience at this hotel. Check in was easy and staff very friendly. It is right near Marienplatz, yet on a quiet street. Everything was clean and worked well. Typical European room, on the small side, but well kept and everything you need.

Just a place to crash
The place is painted and looks like a brothel. The rooms were very small to say the least, the shower is tight to get into. I am not a big guy but, I am not small. It is a sub with a shower curtain and if there is a breeze from the window the shower curtain will stick to you. There is no AC, but you can ask for a fan. There is breakfast served up until 1000. It is your typical German Breakfast with bread and various meats.
