Hotel du Vin & Bistro Edinburgh, Edinburgh
Best stay ever
One of the best places we have ever stayed at. Quality through and through from the food, to the atmosphere, to the location. Ideal location only 2 blocks from the central sites. Large rooms, huge baths and showers, comfortable beds in large rooms. My wife and I were both shocked at how large everything since we are used to more postage stamp size rooms/bathrooms while staying in the UK. Heated towels, bath robes. I have since found out there are 19 different Hotel DuVin in the UK. We will absolutely book with them if it fits into our plans.

Very Good8.0
great room but no AC
It was a very nice hotel right in the heart of town. However, the A/C was not working and it happened to be the hottest May Day week in 40 years. We had 2 fans running all night. We were on the 3rd floor and it is a funky layout where there are three 3rd floors and you have to do a bit of walking around, but not unexpected in a quirky old building and not a negative, just a note. We would definitely stay here again.

Would stay here again and again.
This hotel is in the best location Located in old town but not in all the craziness . It is on a quiet street with zero noise.. and just a few steps to a few blocks away from the main streets and the restaurants .. the staff is also extremely friendly and accommodating . Also the shower was great. The furniture/beds are in good quality and not at all shoddy. Though I do like dark rooms I do feel that the room could use a little more lights in the ceiling (sometimes to find things in your luggage/closet ..) but that’s about it . Overall it is excellent.

Excellent all round experience
This hotel has lots of cosy spots to relax. Very attractive furnishings with a chic tartan theme. We are in the restaurant and were surprised with the quality and interesting selection of dishes. Only criticism - reception desk badly located right inside entrance impeding access

Excellent Hotel
Excellent hotel with very helpful staff -- not just one person, all of them. Only real issue: it was a bit difficult to adjust the temperature in the room. Overall a great place to stay.
