Lovely hotel!
We truly enjoyed out stay at this nice hotel. We've booked two more nights when we return to eastern Ireland.

Nice hotel
The room we got was huge and very nicely appointed. Nice tub too. I ended up staying longer than I initially reserved for because I got a horrid respiratory infection my last day. Everyone was so nice in my hour of need. After extending my stay (they honored my hotels.com rate for added nights), the manager on duty brought a tray of tea, honey, and lemon to the room. Really sucked being alone and sick, the staff made things a bit better. The only thing I wish had been better is the wifi was really weak or nonexistent. The room's lovely sitting area was furthest from the core of the hotel, so got no wifi service at all. The bed was the next closest, and got little to weak wifi. The toilet was the closest and got the best wifi! My device is not on an Irish data plan, so I was 100% dependent on hotel wifi.

Charming and tasteful. Excellent.
This is a great place - period. The staff in all departments are pleasant and effective. Rooms are wonderful: tasteful and tasty (: every room has a pleasant painting, old fashioned elegant curtains, nice wooden furnishing, warm lighting:), spacious and well equipped (: TV, work desk, wardrobe, luggage rack, table and couple of chairs near the windows usually to enjoy the view or for eating food from room service, coffee facilities, optional minibar fridge :), attached bath and shower are really quite spacious and pleasant. The café is fun with some great cakes and gateaux and other desserts and a nice coffee + dessert special for EUR 5 which is served to your table at the Bracken Grill (: that's the Café / Restaurant :). Breakfast is very good with many options and an all-you-can eat continental breakfast for only EUR 6. There are other breakfast options too. There's also a carvery lunch daily with prices around EUR 11 per main course. Dinner is available only on weekends and I must say that I think the Chef is excellent and the 3-course dinner for EUR 25 is good value. The public areas are good and the bar with a good selection of beer and food + pleasant ambiance is open daily. Balbriggan is a simple but charming seaside town about 1 hour by bus from Dublin (: Bus EirAnn has an hourly direct service to Dublin that stops 5 min from the hotel. :). All in all great place for stay, party, formal events like weddings etc. Highly recommended.

What a gem!
Wanted to find a hotel somewhere between Belfast and Dublin. We were intrigued by the other reviews so decided to stay here. What a fantastic hotel. We had a HUGE room (even by US standards) great bathroom too. Perfect beds. My only regret is that I didn't find it sooner. I would've stayed a few days. The Bracken Court Hotel isn't that far from a Dublin. Well worth the time to stay here. We'll be back!
