Very Good8.0
Hotel San Marco
I was initially frustrated because my reservation was not in the hotel's system, however the staff was very friendly and accommodating and made things right. They gave me a room near my friends for the entire length of their stay even though the information they received from incorrectly told them the booking was for only one night.

Reception solved the issue of no AC
I can't comment on the hotel directly, as upon arrival we were told that our AC was broken and as a result we would be transferred to another hotel. We were put into a cab (for which the hotel paid) and taken to a hotel very nearby, just on the other side of Termini station. This was our last night in Rome and our concern was being close to the station, as we had to get up early and hop on the train to the airport. Our fears were allayed when we saw that our new hotel was even closer to Termini than San Marco itself. I also believe we received a bit of an upgrade, as the hotel to which we were transferred was very nice. Great customer service and no hassle at all.
