Travelodge Dublin Airport North Swords, Swords
Too pricey
It is a Travel Lodge, yet for the price of Hilton on a better day. All in all the hotel is Ok. The price is too high, though, and no breakfast included. On the good side it is only 5 minutes ride from the airport.

Not awesome but convenient
Room was not super comfortable, no a.c. and it was very stuffy even with window open. We had to ask for a fan to help that. Breakfast was just okay, but pricey to me. Check in was easy, staff was friendly, overall it was okay.

Overnight stop
Very comfortable room with tea and coffee easily made with real milk! Only drawback was we pre-warned them we would be arriving after midnight and we had to go up stairs and then through three sets of doors and corridors to get to the room with our bags presumably waking everyone else. This was inconvenient for us and for them, I think. Otherwise very good, shuttle arrived on time.

pre-flight stay
Ok place for one night before early airport departure. Check in good and got great recommendation for food nearby - The Old Schoolhouse. Not noisy at all. Very basic hotel. They do charge for coffee and airport shuttle.

Thank goodness for the restaurant! No outlets tho!
I was surprised at the location: almost in the middle of a roundabout! No restaurants or stores nearby, lots of traffic. The hotel itself is not the best but I suppose for one night that you need to spend near the airport, it works. However, I think it is way overpriced..... this is a 50-65 Euros place, not over 120 Euros. For that price the cost of the airport shuttle should be included but it costs 3 Euros each way. The driver gives you no information.....just holds his hand out to be paid. You have no idea where you are landing and they don't drop you off at any terminarl so be prepared to add at least 5-10 minutes to get to the right Terminal. The wifi is horrible- it kept coming in and out and was not reliable. Again....not worth the price! The bed was also quite comfortable but there are no extra outlets in the room....nowhere to plug in your computer or charge your phone! That needs to be changed if you want to get business people there. I drained my laptop battery trying to get some work done after I got there. The carpet is quite worn as well. The best part? the restaurant....thanks goodness there is one! Both dinner and breakfast were quite good!!
