    Lodge Outback Motel, Broken Hill
    Left early, first time ever.
The room was in the original house and large. Lovely period decor, high pressed tin ceilings, with an attached enclosed porch housing the fridge and microwave with a fully equipped bathroom beyond. BUT the air-con was ancient and did nothing but circulate warm air no matter how it was set. It was just too old to function any other way and with outside temperatures somewhere in the vicinity of 40C this was just not good enough. Nights spent beneath the fan brought some relief but not much so I ended up leaving a day early.

Older style rooms. Value for money. Great customer service. Worth a try. Would stay again.

    Comfort, history and character
Friendly hosts, comfortable family room, short drive to all Broken Hill's attractions. Some shade over the pool would be good in BH's baking heat.
