Noise 22 hours a day
Impossible to sleep - too much noise from drinkers. Only quiet time was close to 4 AM when the last drinker has left the area and 6 AM with the clean up machines start to clean.

The Norseman: Comfortable & Clean; Great Location
We stayed at the Norseman for a three-day visit to Dublin. The Norseman is conveniently located within walking distance of many of the tourist sites. There are numerous bars and restaurants nearby. Our room was clean and comfortable. There was some noise at night from pedestrians on the street, but it didn't bother us. We would stay at the Norseman again.

Fun, not quiet.
Turns out it's really a bar with rooms instead of a hotel with a well-known bar. We arrived around eight in the morning as we'd emailed them, yet as a bar there was no one to let us in to drop off bags for a couple hours. Rooms were fine but right in the Temple Bar party area so it's loud (even with windows closed and fan running) until early morning like one or two. If you're there to enjoy the night life then the location is great. If not, then it's not.

A great place to stay in the heart of Temple Bar. The people were very helpful.

Ideal location comfortable room
The area was just perfect. If you need services this would not be the place to stay. It's great for the independent traveler. The rooms were clean and had everything they would need. If they didn't they would provide them to you.
