Do not even consider staying here.
Unsatisfactory check in process. Informed that the lift was not working and would not be repaired. I took my 93 year old mother to stay, who has to walk with tha aid of two canes and struggled to access our room!and they told me we had been informed of the issue with the lift….clearly a lie as they could not tell me what email address they had sent this to! Had booked a room with a sea view but the windows inside and outside were encase with cobwebs and were so filthy that we could not see the sea! Housekeeping only conducted for bookings of 3 nights or more! Again not informed of this! Was eventually informed by staff that the hotel was closing down at the end of August and that basic maintenance was cancelled! Avoid this hotel at all costs.

Decent stay
Cons: no lift, temporarily down. No room cleaning in the 3 nights we stayed. Shower was quite poor. £7.50 per night per car which’s expensive considering you can park 10 metres away for free. Pros: friendly staff all round. Good facilities including pool and dining area. Spacious family room. Beautiful scenery out of the front door

Conveniently located in the heart of it all
We was able to check in early which was good, the room had a fab view of the seafront and was very spacious. The bed was hard to sleep on and we was not informed that the pool was closed ahead of arrival so children was disappointed plus I had to spend extra, on the local leisure centre. The restaurant had a limited menu for dinner service for children too so again had to locate restaurants outside of the hotel. Also, we asked about amusements in the area which the staff had limited knowledge about, we found arcades etc when walking 2 mins from hotel. However, the hotel was clean along with the upkeep of the style and they did let us go for breakfast without booking and just turning up. You do have to pay extra for parking at the hotel too.
