Clean but needs basic servicing, workers unhelpful
Apartment was two blocks from the hotel and was clean and nice enough, but the AC remote wasn't there and the wifi wasn't working and after we told them, their response was keep looking and no one else has complained about wifi so they didn't do anything.... They fixed both issues the next day but that was a very uncomfortable and warm first night. Also the down-volume and up-channel buttons on the tv remote don't work... Just FYI

OK Apartment but Check-in & pillows were a pain
We stayed at apartment #108. It was a fairly comfortable size for 4, 2 separate sleeping areas with 1 bathroom, small kitchen and small dining table for 4. Only negatives - bathroom door won't slide shut easily, have to struggle to close it and the pillows are the hardest I've come across through all my years of travel - I'm an avid traveler and stay at hotels and apartments at least 10-15 different ones a year. Another inconvenience was the process of checking in. We had to pick-up the keys at the hotel location then walk about 10-15 minutes to the apartment. We arrived via train and walked about 15 minutes to the hotel. So total of 30 minutes walk with our heavy luggage after a long day of travel was so tiring. The apartment location is only about 10 minutes from train if we didnt have to pick-up keys at the hotel.

Spacious apartment.
The apartment was spacious and clean. It was a good ways from the main hotel so be prepared to walk a ways if you want their breakfast or if you need to park a car. Breakfast had many choices and was better than your average European breakfast. I recommend a visit to Bologna. It's not too big and is worth a stop.

Clean, modern, practical, friendly, well located
We stayed in one of the apartments on via Milazzo for 7 nights and had a great time. Very clean and modern (in the best of ways) and perfectly located to wander into the centre of Bologna (c1km, but it's a pleasant walk and there are many routes) or take day trips to Venice, Modena, Ferrara, Verona etc. from the railway station. Comfortable beds (and very good sofa bed for our boys in the other room), good wifi, fridge-freezer, dining table and small but sufficient cooking area. Great blackouts if you like a lie in, effective air conditioning and a good walk-in shower. Loads of storage and just a couple of minutes' walk from a Coop where you can buy fresh croissants and coffee in the morning and stock up fresh fruit and veg etc. if you're not eating out. Two decent restaurants within a minute's walk, though you may prefer to head into town for the views and atmosphere. Bologna is beautiful by day, and both beautiful and atmospheric by night. If I was going to gripe, the air con remote could do with some instructions (or perhaps just new batteries...though I didn't ask) and it would be good to be shown to the apartment, as even with verbal instructions, when you arrive knackered and have kids in tow, it can be easy to miss it first time. The owner was very friendly, giving us a city map and restaurant recommendations, and organizing us a taxi to the airport when we left (cheaper than four tickets on the airport bus) and making us tea and coffee while we waited.

Good value
The apartment was in a good location, near good restaurants and the city centre but in a quite street. Overall, good value for money, no luxuries but we had a good stay. Just a couple of things that needed some attention: it was advertised as having tea & coffee making facilities and toiletries; however, the shower gel bottle was empty and there was only sachets of coffee and sugar, no tea or milk and no kettle.
