OK but nothing special
Ok for the business traveler for one night; however nothing special and not necessarily the place where you want to spend vacation with your family.
TV did not work, obviously old batteries in the remote control.
Bathroom a bit old although very clean.

good access to Autobahn

limited choices at breakfast, obviously due to small number of guests in January

Great place, great price, great breakfast
WiFi very good, breakfast excellent with a lot of choices. Great area to go out and walk.
The rooms had dead mosquitos on the walls were they had been killed and not cleaned up, and we had to kill a few. Since the hotel room balconies open out into a beautiful field and view, the mosquitos get into the rooms if you are not very careful.

Nature park guesthouse
This was a useful location for a weekend base for walking and canoeing in the Altmuhltal Nature Park. The facilities are basic but this is fairly typical for a remote Gasthaus. The staff were fairly amenable but there was no English spoken and we got by with minimal German and sign language. The evening meal in the dining room was enjoyable.

Statt dem versprochenen 22 cm² Zimmer mit Balkon, hatten wir ungefähr 13 cm² mit Dachschräge ohne Balkon. Der Teppichboden war mit Flecken übersäht und müsste dringend erneuert werden. W-Lan hat nur an ausgesuchten Stellen funktioniert. Aber wir konnten über Sky Fußball Bundesliga anschauen.
