Go Cosmotel!
Hotel staff was super nice and very helpful. Had breakfast set up there although we didn't use it. They gave us all kitchen supplies we needed to enjoy dinner in our room. Large deep bathtub to relax after walking all day. Conveniently located near subway stop. Not near city center but few stops from subway. Very clean. Very accommodating.

We would stay there again; clean and well managed.
As mentioned above, the staff at the hotel were extremely polite and helpful in assisting in a variety of ways. Assistance in finding the most appropriate method of getting to the sights/museums (i.e., subway (Metro), cab, railroad). As the neighborhood was slightly older, the hotel staff were considerate in offering suggestions in order to maintain safety when out at night in the area. Staff went above and beyond in their willingness to loan out an electrical adapter as the adapter I purchased in the United States did not work as well as expected.

We had a great stay at the hotel. The owners Francois and wife Frederic were polite, friendly, funny, welcoming and very helpful in directions. The breakfast buffet is extra but it was worth it since we traveled with a 1 year old and 11 year old. They had a pack and play in the room and a high chair for breakfast. The room was clean and had air conditioning. It was close to the Strasbourg St Denis metro stop which made it convenient to get to anywhere in Paris. As many have mentioned, the lobby is actually on 2nd floor and depending which building you are in, the elevator starts in the lobby or 3rd floor. The neighborhood does have lots of businesses and interesting people however there was never a time that we did not feel safe. If you are coming in with the train to Gare L Est and you have lots of luggage, ask for a taxi or be prepared to walk about 10 minutes with all your luggage. Do not attempt to take the metro as you will have to drag all your luggage up and down the stairs. Side note-The Rick Steves Paris book was well worth the investment and suggestions of when to see sights. Saved us lots of money.

I was injured while in Paris and the owner found and helped us get to the imaging center down the block and across the street. Bad sprained ankle meant my husband needed help to support me and he walked us to the door of the facility. He helped my husband find the medical supplies I needed and offered to help with anything we needed. This is definitely going above and beyond.

The staff was great! Very helpful. There is a lift in the hotel but after younget up the first flight of steps. The double queen room was very tight, hard to walk around in with luggage. The breakfast was great.
