Great place to stay
This hotel is wonderful. The staff were very courteous and friendly. Hotel is across the street from the main train station. Very convenient. Buffet breakfast was delicious. The room was spacious and had a nice view of a courtyard and fountain. I really like this hotel.

Convenient and clean hotel
The hotel is convenient to getting around the city and grocery stores. The area is away from the tourist areas so more genuine. The room was a good size. The blinds could be better to block out light. The neighborhood was a little noisy, but that's city living.

Great value for money!
I stayed at Sachsenhof on two occasions during my last visit to Germany. The hotel is very conveniently located near Nollendorfplatz Underground which has very easy connections to most of the popular places in the city. The staff is really helpful and the breakfast has a great spread. Really happy with this place!

Lovely place to stay
The hotel was very convenient, a short walking distance to the U-Bahn station, with several places for simple breakfast near the hotel If you choose not eat at the hotel. Front-desk staff was very helpful and friendly. Hotel was clean and totally presentable. Our room was sizeable and comfortable. The only "complaint" would be the noise of people talking in the center-courtyard into the middle of the night -- probably smokers. The acoustics of the courtyard bounced off the voices clearly. That definitely affected the quality of sleep staying in this hotel, if the room faced the inner courtyard. Otherwise, it is a nice place to stay.

Comfort and value in a good location
Good location, very close to Nollendorfplatz U Bahn station so easy access to the wide Berlin transport network. A comfortable, good sized room where everything worked. Shower rather than bath. Breakfast adequate and typical. Be aware that rooms at the front of house do not have blackout blinds so front spotlights mean room does not fully darken.

A great value for money
The room wasn't very large but it is very functional and well maintained. Nice bathroom. 3 very quiet nights. Breakfast was quite good value too, but the management should do something about bread and pastries which were all dry...
