This hotel is clearly in the middle of a major renovation. Our room had been newly renovated and looked great, but the final cleanup had been missed. There was drywall dust throughout the room from the construction work. The biggest issue was the air conditioner. It was extremely loud and wasn't cooling the room well. My husband checked the filters and found them completely packed with dust. The unit was struggling to push air through them. Once removed, the noise stopped and the room cooled much better, though there was no filtration. The check-in process was frustrating. There is no front desk, and you're expected to check in through a link before arrival. We ended up standing in a dark corridor from the parking garage, unable to access the building until we completed the online check-in and received a QR code. Thankfully, there was a staff member in the lobby who helped us. The renovated lobby was modern, clean, and attractive, but like many common areas, it was very warm due to a lack of air conditioning. Breakfast was decent with eggs, breakfast meats, potatoes, breads, bagels, pastries, fruit, cereal, and breakfast bars. The coffee, however, was terrible. The coffee in the room was better.
The beds, pillows, and blankets were comfortable, and we had no issues with noise during our stay. Overall, I think this hotel has a lot of potential once renovations are complete. The lack of a traditional front desk is a drawback for me, but despite the issues, I would stay again.
