Good place near train station (Brussels Midi)
It was a solid place for a very reasonable price. About 20mins walk to the Grand Place where more is going on. The neighborhood has some cheap bites but not filled with things to visit. The staff was nice, helped me print some stuff with no hassle. Overall, fine place.

HORRIBLE!!!!!
This is by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. I'm shocked and dismayed that hotels.com would even have it on their list. My room was a cold, frigid dump. I was afraid to take my clothes off so I slept for a couple of hours fully clothed including my shoes, on top of the bed. And even if I would have undressed it would have been too cold in the room to sleep. This was only a few hours stop while I waited for my early morning train. The neighborhood is unsavory and I wasn't sure if the train station was open all night, otherwise I would have slept in the station.

excellent standards in the hotel. It was close to the Eurostar Station which was what we wanted. The downside was that if you had a room overlooking the street (a main thoroughfare) it was noisy. We would certainly stay there again but not on a Saturday night.

Wouldn't stay here again...
We could feel every spring in the mattress and the pillows were just slightly softer than rocks. The "window" opened up into a ventilation tunnel that only provided cigarette smoke from other rooms making the room stuffy and hot. The toilet seat was broken and the "hot" water for the shower was at best lukewarm.
