Having the loft was nice when one person wants to stay up while the other sleeps.

Perfect for Solo Traveler
The room was on the small side, but as a solo traveler that didn't bother me at all. It was cozy and perfect for me. Nice touches here and there, such as a complimentary bottle of water and a wine glass/cork screw hidden in the side table. Clean, comfortable, quiet, and with free wifi. Gold stars all around.

Convenient and comfortable.
This is a nice little boutique hotel in a convenient location from which to see London. We really liked our loft room. Our room was right above street level, but there was very little traffic noise. Very comfortable.

Good, Convenient Place to Stay
I traveled to France on business, and stopped in London on the way back. The Rockwell came up because it had a good price, and the photos looked good. Of course, I didn't read that the room I would be getting was the single room, so I was somewhat surprised when I checked in at just how SMALL the room could be! It reminds me of my old dorms in Japan. With that being said, the hotel is in great condition, the staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the room suited all of my needs (given that I was rarely ever in it). The TV gets all of the channels and Sky Sports, so I could tune in when I wanted to for the local football matches. The hotel is a great spot because it is within walking distance to Earls Court station, which is very convenient to other parts of London. The area is very safe, but the road-side rooms of the hotel (i.e. all the single occupancy ones) can get noisy depending on Cromwell Road traffic. In all, I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are looking for a place to just crash at night; don't plan on lazing about in this one if you're by yourself. I'll have to bring the significant other here next time and maybe we'll check out the bigger rooms.
