We had a very good 2 night stay at Prague Golden Age. It's a cute small hotel in a very good condition near Wenceslas Square and Mustek metro station. The service is friendly and helpful and they serve great breakfast in a pretty dining room. You wake up to the aroma of fresh coffee and fresh hot pastry. The hot water and selection of teas is always available in the dining room. The hotel is on the street that has a popular very busy market so if you use a shuttle or a cab they won't be able to come to the door. Golden Age is in an old building without an elevator but with steep circular staircase. Keep that in mind, and that 2nd floor in Europe is American third. On our arrival the mail receptionist took our luggage up to our 3d floor room. On checkout we had to take it down ourselves. Our third floor room was cute but tiny, almost no space for luggage. We decided not to care because everything else was great. There's also no AC, as probably in the majority of hotels in old buildings in this area so we kept the window open and listened to the sounds of old city. We enjoyed our stay and recommend this lovely hotel.

Our stay was great. Breakfast was your European cold meats, cheese, breads, pastries and yougurt. The room was nice. Except when we booked our room on it said $167 and when I finished my check out online it was $254 and when I asked the hotel they said it was I have to take it up with because they only get a price to charge me. said it's the hotel I take it up with. Hotels said I got charged for an extra adult but the hotel didn't. And there was nothing stating that I needed to pay for an extra adult. We also was given a roll away bed we didn't request and had to pay for that also.

Would recommend to anyone
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Outstanding and friendly staff, very helpful and fluent in English. They got me a shuttle to the airport and showed me the best places to visit as well as the quickest way to get to each. There was someone at the desk 24 hours. When I booked it said shared bathroom, but when I arrived I actually had it to myself and was always clean and very close to my room. Couldn't beet location, but with any great tourist location there was some noise at night- but closing inside and outter windows made a great difference. The breakfast buffet was good, I bought fresh berries at the market outside the front lobby and they let me keep them in the fridge and added them to my breakfast. Overall great experience and would recommend highly to anyone traveling through. Thank you Golden Age for beautiful experience in Prague ❤️
